A collection of some of my favorite spray painted head on cut wood. Each head varies in size but all are hand cut with a jigsaw from half inch pressed wood. The each color is spray painted directly on the surface of the wood using hand cut stencils. The back of each piece has one inch spacers so that when hung upon a wall, each piece appears to float on the surface. My collection featuring some of my favorite works on stretched canvas. Each piece was created by spray painting every color using hand cut stencils. The background of each painting features torn pages of Chinese newsprint adhered to the stretched canvas.

Although most of my recent works from the past few years have been created using stencils and spray paint, I decided to create this piece the traditional way, utilizing oil paint on stretched canvas. It was created for a gallery exhibit that focused on mashups. So I combined two of my favorites, David Bowie and Frankenstein's monster, into one piece.
